We are in the thrust of election season. Every other commercial is political, and your mailboxes are stuffed with mailers that probably go straight in the trash. People do not ask us who to vote for for President or Senator, and we are fine with that. But as attorneys, we are often asked who they should vote for for the Montana Supreme Court, and why. This upcoming election is significant, as it will directly impact your rights, both as our clients and as individuals. There are two open seats on the Montana Supreme Court this election cycle, and we strongly endorse Judge Katherine Bidegaray and Judge Jerry Lynch for these positions.
We live in an environment where insurance companies are actively working to minimize the rights of injured workers and exert influence upon the judiciary, and these two individuals stand out as staunch advocates for the rights of injured Montanans. Judge Bidegaray and Judge Lynch have shown that they will stand up for and protect the Constitutional rights of all Montanans, including our right to privacy and access our public lands and streams. We have practiced before both judges and while we do not always agree, they have demonstrated themselves to be knowledgeable and – most importantly – fair and impartial.
Their decisions have the potential to directly affect your claim or those of other injured workers, making your vote critical. We therefore urge you to join us in voting for Judge Bidegaray and Judge Lynch for the Montana Supreme Court. In doing so, you will safeguard your rights and the rights of other injured workers. Please spread the word amongst your family, friends, and anyone who will listen about the importance of this election for you and other injured Montanans and to vote for Judge Bidegaray and Judge Lynch for the Montana Supreme Court.
Together, we can protect the rights of injured workers and uphold justice for all Montanans. Thank you for taking the time to read this and to vote.
